Clever design keeps the spoon off counters, but rice sticks to the paddle (even plain white and cheap jasmine rice). The studded texture—touted as anti-stick—actually makes cleaning harder when rice dries. Needs soaking in soapy water. Cool frosted handle, but minor flashing needed smoothing. Maybe works for others, but not worth $12 for me.
